Mohamed Abdi Mire has taken over as Chairman of MMire Foundation, bringing more than two decades of leadership experience in the health and social care sector to the charity he helped found.
As CEO of Care Solution Bureau CIC (CSB) and The Social Care Ltd, Mohamed leads strategic and operational direction across the health and social care sector, overseeing a workforce of more than 600 staff. His work spans East London, North London, West London and Liverpool, working hand-in-hand with local authority and community partners.
His leadership approach is person-centred, outcome-focused and collaborative — built on safe care, effective governance, workforce development, and supporting people to achieve dignity, independence, wellbeing and choice. These are the same values he now brings to MMire Foundation.
Mohamed's expertise covers health and social care leadership, workforce management, quality assurance, safeguarding, contract delivery, business development and multi-agency partnership working — experience that strengthens how the charity is run and accountable to its supporters.
Before moving fully into health and social care leadership, Mohamed built a sixteen-year career in IT support and infrastructure across London.

Worked on the helpdesk and as a field engineer covering Newham Council, Waltham Forest, Lewisham, Bexleyheath and Slough County Council — delivering 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support to over 5,000 council users, including a Windows XP rollout across three boroughs.

Site-based engineer on the BBMV / Crossrail C510 project (a partnership of Balfour Beatty, ALPINE BeMo Tunnelling, Morgan Sindall and VINCI Construction) and backfill engineer across major clients including Capgemini, Tube Lines, London Borough of Croydon, Liberty International, Emap, Virgin Trains, Fidelity, the UK Anti-Doping Agency and Lockton.
